(c) copyright www.archaeologyonline.org (2004 - 2011) Page last updated 16/02/2011 When you make a recipe for a round house, its actually pretty simple, since the main ingredients are wood and thatch.  Thanks to the owners of Cubert Holiday Park we collected some of the thatch for the roof from the reed bed during February of this year, although the amount collected will not be enough to complete the roof, so if anyone reading this know’s of anyone who would like to donate a reed bed or two to the project then please contact Jacqui.  Collection of the reeds went well and as you can see it was cold and wet for those of us who went through the reed bed ! We would like to also thank our friends at Idless wood for helping us in procuring the wood for the round house.
